cv joints?
what are cv joints? are they used on a car to make the sound of the suspension lower? i lowered my 02 accord wit skunk2 springs and tokico struts and whenever i go over bumps or cracks, i can hear weird sounds in my rear wheels..like knocking sounds
Oh geez...
CV Joints are part of the CV axle, which connects your hubs/wheels to the differential/transmission. Given Accords are all FWD, you have no CV joints in the rear of the car.
If you lowered your car a lot, I'd be looking for contact in the wheel well with suspension components or the tire. I'd also check bumpstops and other suspension parts for evidence of the suspension bottoming out.
Did you do the install yourself, or did a shop? If a shop did it, you may want to take it back to the shop and see what they think. Perhaps the installation wasn't done properly.
