Default rear wheel/suspension noise...

my car been making alot of noise in the rear, cant even hear my radio unless i turn it up real loud. so today i jack up the rear and spin the wheel. the right wheel is fine, but the left wheel made some noise and have some play in it. do i have to change bearings or something?

Put the car on Jackstands and grab the left wheel with both hands at 3 & 9 o'clock and waggle it, lf you can feel any appreciable play then you have a shot wheel bearing. The bearing is a complete hub assembly as it's a unit made piece and you can't buy the bearing and replace yourself.
