Problem with rear wheel, wheel bearing?
I got a loud whistle from the driver side rear wheel, i think it may be the wheel bearing, I removed the wheel and rotor from both rear wheels and rotated the hub, and the driver side rear has a loud noise when rotating. Do you think it could be the wheel bearing? If not what else? If it was the wheel bearing, how much is one, and should i get a new hub also?

That definately sounds like the rear wheels bearings. You can't buy just the bearings for the rear, they sell the hub which already have the bearing inside. For a GSR hub they run about $179 each side. For a Type R, it is going to be more.

Yeah, and to my recolection, I know it's tru for the front at least, you need to have the old one pressed out, and the new one pressed in, which to say the least is a pain in the ***.....
I do motor swaps in less than 3 hours, butafter looking at it, and realizing I needed a press, which I didn't have, I watched my local acura dealer spend almost eight hours even with the pnuematic slide hammer to get it off....not to say that it's usually that hard...but I'd pay them to do it....they'll charge you a flat rate if you ask for a quote up front! Well worth it if it's the same process as the front bearing.

Yeah, I was reffering to the front, that's why I said I was not really sure about the rear.
I just know that's how it has to happen for the front...it may be a lot easier in the rear...I've just never done it?????
Hope for his sake it is that easy!!!
