Thinking about painting my white DA black, cuz I hate how gaps look on a white car. Im cheaping out on the paint job cuz my beater aint no show car or anything. Is there alot of peps running paint jobs with different color engin bays. The inner door portion is what bugginh me to not change the color. Anyone with pictures would be appreciated.

I think a car with gaps would look a lot better than a car with mismatched door jams. If you half-*** it, you're an idiot.

I couldn't deal with that. When I had my car resprayed I chose a different type of red, vs color changing the entire thing. I'm glad I made my decision. Take it to a body shop and have them fix the gaps.

If your car was black and your were spraying it white..it wouldnt look as bad...but spraying a white car black isnt gonna look good.

Spraypaint the doorjambs gloss black. Actually, I saw that done on an s-10 and you couldnt notice the difference unless you looked kinda hard.

I own a white DA too, if you're not going to pay the money to have it done right I would just sell the car and buy a black car. But you would be better off fixing whatever is wrong with it, bodywork or anything else it needs....and just respraying it white.
