did you put an intake in your car? if you did, you might have pulled out your vtec solenoid. thats what happened to me

my vtec doesent work because i messed up the solenoid pulling ou the intake, and unintentionally cut some wires i wasnt supposed to , ............anyway, you would have a cel light reading code 21 if your vtec solenoid was bad, and it would come on when you rev your car over 2800 rpms. the solenod is next to the intake, it is kind of bolted to the frame and it has a black cap on the top of it.

How can you tell that your vtec isnt working anymore? Are you getting bad gas mileage or something?

ok, there is a night and day difference bn the way it drives w/ vtec and without. it just drags like a dog w/ it out. i know the f22b1 is "econo vtec" but it still flows better in vtec. if you have a 5sp... drive it w/ vtec, then unplug the solenoid and the valve, and tell me it feels the same.
