:: Camera ::
Well I was wondering what kind of camera most of you use? What are some good cameras that are a decent price?

:: Photoshop ::
What are some of the filters you guys use to make your pictures look so good? What brings the light out? the colors? and just the sharpness of the picture?

Thank you in advance.

Hey man, everyone will tell you to get some expensive *** camera, but a great one for cheap is the Olympus C-4000. I got it and it takes awesome pictures with really natural and true-to-life colors...we went through like 4 cameras before we settled on this one!! In photoshop the most I will ever do is sharpen, resize, or alter brightness and contrast occasionally. There is simply no need to doctor them all up with this camera. And I'm not even a good photographer or anything, if there is good lighting all I do is set it to auto and let it do the rest. I'm really pushing this camera because it seems like its so unknown as not even having been discovered or something. Its awesome for entry-level photographers for just point-and-shoot but also has a great selection of manual controls.

Camera really depends on your budget, if you can spend whatever get a dslr (nikon d70, canon digital rebel, etc.). But if your budget is limited look into some Nikon and Canon cameras (sony has some nice ones as well).

As for photoshop, most people do use filters besides shaprening. you can edit the color balance and all that through image > adjustments. The best way to get good is just scew around for a whole and see what you can do.

yeah...it really depends on how much you have to spend...if u wanna spend like $300-400 id suggest the Sony DSC-V1...a little bit more, like $500-700 id suggest the Canon G6...or the Nikon 5400
...all great little cameras for the price!
a little bit more up, id agree with Kite and go with a Canon Digital Rebel, cant beat the quality of that camera!
...right now i have an olympus stylus 300...if you are looking for a starter cam, its a great choice!

check out http://www.dpreview.com for reviews and **** on all the cameras

and in photoshop, all i use is the brightness and consentration levels to make it crisper and ****, and also i play around with the colors to make them more real

I won't use anything but Canon, but give us your price range. That will make suggestions easier.

i'd recommend the Canon A85 or S410 [ 4MP range ]. you can find them for about $250 and $300ish respectively.

why spend 5-600 when for 800 you could buy my digital rebel, a lens, 3 filters, 10d firmware hack, ai servo hack, remote shutter release, 256mb card, a bag, original box and manuals, and more? hehe....worth the splurge!!!!!
