Default Domelight and wiper not working - 1999 Honda Civic

Hi,

Since last few days, the domelight and the wiper in my 1999 Honda Civic are not working. Wiper doesn't work only in the least spead, for the remaining 2 speeds, it works fine.

I checked the dome light bulb, and all the fuses in the fuse box, non of them is blown.

Can you guys help me in fixing this problem?

Thanks in advance.

I know exactly what the problem is. Check in the fusebox under the hood. I can almost guarantee you that the interior light fuse is blown. Also, your headlight buzzer (that lets you know that your lights are on when you leave the car) won't work either.

It may be your switch. I had a similar problem where SOME functions didn't work like intermitent. Yanked out the switch and followed the helms check. Ended it was shot.

I promise you that it's the interior light fuse in the underhood fuseblock. I pulled it to use for my backup fuse while I drove to the store to get a new one and you'd be amazed what all's tied to that fuse.

Hey Ricey, you rock man!!! I checked the fuse for interior lights under the hood, near the battery. That was blown off. You were damn correct!!!

Thanks a lot for the pointer.

JBS, thanks for your reply also.

ah ya beat me to it .. he's 100% correct. I blew another fuse, and replaced it with the interior light fuse, so i'm missing the dome light, intermitent wipers, and headlight buzzer.
