What a cool instructing perk. I got to drive a 360 Spider F1 today! It is sweet, not because it cost 180k but because it drives near perfect.
yeah so it was only going 7/10th for a few laps but it was memborable. it's not the fastest car i've rode in and/or drove before but it is the most perfect that i can recall. Handling (how composed it was in the technical S's of Sears Point), and braking were very impressive. And of course the sound, the F1 shifting was dope.

They are amazing...but i was actually a little dissapointed with a 355; it was pretty sweet, but didn't seem as fast or capable Porsche 911 Turbo i got to drive at an autoX...THAT car was phenomenal. The ferrari felt a little underpowered by comparison, if you can believe that (and i was just riding in the 355, which usually gives the impression of more power). Still, you can't beat real seat time in something that costs as much as a house and goes like hell on fire

I hear this from a lot of people, that Porsches are faster. And if you go by the magazines this is true...but how much of an equalizer is the Ferrari factor? like the sounds, the feel...kinda like why we buy Type-Rs, because theyre so involving. I think I would rather have that than a less tactile car. The same magazines that say the Porsche is faster also say it's kinda boring?
Those things sound incredible.
