Default Smoking...

Ok theres a very thin, light colored smoke comming from the back of my engine bay, somewhere around the intake mani, and the fuel rail (cant tell exactly).

My oil level is fine, my coolant is clean, and i have plenty of coolant left....

2 of my friends had 2 thoughts...

1) head gasket blown... but wouldnt i be losing oil really fast, it'd be over heating, coolant would be gone and the coolant would have oil in it?
2) another friend thought maybe theres a oil leak and its leaking on something and burning the oil...

When i stop the car (i.e in a parking lot) the smoke lasts for about 1-2 minutes then stops... the car drives fine etc...

2 things to note... I have a faulty o2 sensor and my ignition/starter has failed 2x (turn key nothing happens, have to reengage clutch)... this is a 92prelude si

thx

Sounds like you got a leak in the manifold gasket, because if you parked for a while, there won't be much air flowing so it should be calm at that time. U should check if the back of the block if there's black dust on it.

1 other peice of info... i blew a h23a1 end of august. put in a jdm f22b. on the h23 i blew a headgasket mid trip and flooded the engine with oil and warped the pistons. i know for sure he replaced the radiator, and the engine, i would think he put in new gaskets too (?) but not sure, but that was a while ago... grr im scared to even drive it home 15 minutes... do u think it will be fine to drive ?

Well i'm not too sure unless you did trust whoever did swapped the f22 for you and did all the labor and torque the head down correctly.
On the other hand if you afraid to drive home 15 min, you should not drive hard..

could be extra oil/coolant or whatever else you have splashed into the actual hood from when it last blew.. and it could be dripping down at the back causing smoke.. prob not your problem but should put that to mind a little even tho not too likely..
