Default D16Y7 DC header install help?

I had a crack in my stock header pipe, and I was given a DC style header from a friend. It all bolted up fine and it's airtight and working, but I don't know what to do with the two oxygen sensors on my car (D16Y7 engine). I'm planning to extend the wires on the lower oxygen sensor to use the single port on the header, but what should I do with the other sensor? Could I just splice that into the other one and solve my problem (Check engine light, rough idle)

I'd like to avoid drilling. Any other suggestions?

yeah it's going run rich, you can wrap it in aluminum and hang it somewhere or just get an o2 simulator

You need to extend the upper O2 sensor to that port on the header (I am assuming it is design for a 99-00 civic ex/hx)

Then you can wrap the lower one in aluminum foil or get an obd2 sim or some **** to fool the ecu

Yep....the upstream O2 sensor is the important one as far as the car running normal. It's the one that screws into the exhaust manifold. That needs to be getting a reading from somewhere before the cat if you want the rough idle to go away.

The one after the cat can be tied away, but you'll stiil get a CEL, but it shouldn't effect performance.

I have the same issue....a crack in the manifold plus a bad sensor. Once I replace the sensor and get smogged, I'll be picking up a header to replace it. I'll have the ywo bungs for the sensors though.
