I put a `90 dx head on a `93 vx block, vx timing belt does not fit! it has 103 teeth. what belt should I use????

 

last time i checked..you would have to use the belt for the head.........so get a 90DX timing belt!

 

it was too small also, tried a belt off a 1.6 motor and it was too big.

 

check this out, your in luck because i work at a parts store, and i ran into the same problem swapping my d16a6 head on my y7 block weird **** i know, but i found that on honda timing belts each tooth is about an 1/8in. so tell me what length(aka how many teeth/width) you need and i will help. on my problem i had the belt off my original motor(d16y6) was one toothe too long and the y7 belt was too short, so i got a belt 106 tooth for an accord or something.

 

I ended up getting a 39inch belt that was 1inch wide, it worked great.
