Anyone have any idea which series autometer gauges would match the amber backlit gauges on my 00 Si? I have a lunar setup right now and kinda getting tired of getting blinded at night.... Between my indiglo gauges and all my autometer lunar gauges and my alpine tv, its like daytime in my car at night...lol

 

go back to stock and get Defi D-series gauges. the black faced ones. they look sick. i think ht user Joshuavtec has that set up

 

how do those defi gauges work it seems like theres so many different options and some say you need a link of some sort can someone explain exactly what you need? I basically want a oil pressure, boost, and egt, im gonna get rid of my a/f gauge

 

the other Defi series need the link. the D gauges do not. they're basicly like autometers but nicer

 

nicer yes, but are they more accurate at all? who has the best pricing and is a reputable shop?

 

does the d series light up amber? i really like the ones with the black face

Both the D, and BF series now.

BF just recently became available in amber.

 

the BF series is SOO sick too. they are mad expensive, but awesome looking. Im gettin the D guage in amber as well. much better than autometer from what i hear!

 

i have the sportcomp gauges

the are black faced with orange needles and i put the little red bulb cover over the light

its pretty damn close

^Beat me to it. That's what I was going to say. As far as Defi being better than Autometer why is that? I see a whole lot of serious race cars and street rods w/ Autometer set ups. Although I think the Defi's look nice I could never justify spending that much more for the Bling factor. And as far as the statements that they work better than the AM's that's foolish unless someone can provide me w/ some hard proof. ****Don't always believe the hype people.****

not saying that they are better. just saying what i have HEARD. i dont always believe the hype. i have no proof, but i just said what i heard. i dont really ahve much experience with either, so i dunno. Just my .02
