i think it's still to "new" for anyone to have tested it as of yet.......

it looks ok......probably best for a turbo application. i dont think it would be much better than the ITR or skunk2 manifold for a N/A application.

JG has a dyno plot on their page. But it is on a built motor running 20 psi of boost. Whatever, here's the plot:

read: RACE CAR.
and there it is.

this car is making more hp at 5 grand (read: 1/2 redline) than we make at redline.

I will say that edelbrock does make some excelent carbs and manifolds for V8s

What are you talking about?

My point is that it loses power dramatically below 5k rpm. I'll stick with a skunk2 for my boosted street car.

i have no idea what you are talking about? I make more power at 5 grand than that. Compare a skunk2 to a gsr there and youll see the skunk2 above the GSR. the victor x will beat out the skunk 2 wayyy up top but overall skunk2 gives a broader power band. Who likes driving at 9k rpm at 20 psi anyway? I apologize to my engine every time i do it.

skunk2 = street IM
Victor X = race IM

im a big fan of skunk2 but i heard the jg/edelbrock im is better because of the angle of the air as it enters in the head[B18C1]. but i will never get it because the skunk2 looks OEM.
