I just bought a 98 Civic EX with the D16Y8 Vtec motor in it. What are the best ways to get power, but still be able to be driven on the road? Also, what are the differences between 4-2-1 and 4-1 headers?

4 -2 -1 4 pipes become 2 then become one
4-1 4 pipes become 1.

I prefer 4-2-1

4-2-1 give more gain in the middle of the power band. 4-1 is a top end header.

nuh uh... you can do a good top end build... s2 all over the place.. then good rings... even just a complete build... then HURBO

 

na is a good idea if you have 2 cams. or have you car hollow like a bath tub.
