Default Please help me with my choice!! (cams)

Hello, i am from the netherlands so sorry for the faults in my writing
This is my setup till now
b16a2
invidia exhaust system
Mugen 4-1 header
B&m fuel pressure modifier
Skunk2 intake manifold ported
BBK 70mm Throttle body
Str Fuel rail
Tenzo R intake

My next step will be camshafts. But there aren't many N/A tuned cars here so i asked it here.
What kind are the best for street racing and wild enough to use the 70mm perfect.
Some said to me Type R are the best ad best performans but i thought Toda B or Skunk2 stage 2 or JUN3 are superb cams with the best performence?

Does anyone have good argument, i also want to make a lot of RPM and will change the springs enz.

Thanks

Dennis

whoa, its been a long time since ive seen a member from Holland..

i used to live there.. from 90 till 1997. I lived close to Hilversum. My pops worked in Utrecht and Apeldoorn.

anyway.. a set of 2000-2001 Integra Type R or Civic Type R camshafts would be great in your B16. Skunk2 stage 1's or 2's would make good power too, but you will need to get it dyno tuned.

My choice.. get some Buddy Club 3+.

Thanks for the welcome!!!

But are type R cams really faster than a pair of aftermarket cams like skunk2 stage 2 or for example Spoon.
Because honda made them to make 200.000miles they where not so wild.

Thanks again.
Greetings den

That's a normal reaction 70MM !!!
Hahaha
But it works fine the intake sound is superb a i don't have problems in every rpm.
I don't now how it works with a 65mm but they told me that i will have advantage when getting wild cams.

Greetzzz den

70mm tb???
what is the sk2 im ported to?

with stock compression I'd suggest the itr or ctr. Anything more aggresive would be over camming the motor and you probably would not be happy with the end result. Start with a mild lift cam. You can always upgrade later, after a healthy compression bump.

It was ported to fit the 70mm better and they polished some things but i don't know much about these thiongs i now that there are bigger holes

The type r cams are perfect i see.
I go check some prices and keep ya all in touch!

even the CTR /ITR cams wont work a 100% with stock compression 10,2:1..
Maybee you should consider a compression raise to use other cams
