bad o2?
car runs fine when its cold but when it warms up at idle it lopes from 2k back down to 1k over and over. I was thinking bad o2? Im getting check ening light for 1 which is o2 and im also getting a check engine light i belive for 4ws my car is a 92 si non 4ws swaped a h22a into it but only ecu i could get that was a auto p13 was a 4ws jdm auto ecu. Probably giving the code for the 4ws as well. How can i disable 4ws function in the ecu or fake a pin out so it thinks itsworking cuz the lights gay. Also i was looking o2 sensors are pretty expensive anything i can do to get around swaping the o2 i know on mustangs if u buy a basani x pipe u have some way to plug the o2 up . Corect me if im wrong please if not whats a good place to get a new o2 sensor cheap?
I got you her even though im not the most knowledgeable. some people out here gotta agree. i had the same prolem with my old civic. the throttle cable is too tight just back off a touch. you will be fine. after that fixes it you can just hold the pedal a lil bit for a minute or two and it will lope again . as far as the rest of your post i cant help you

I would check the TPS and the IAC. When the engine starts reving like that unplug the TPS sensor and see if that makes a difference. You can check the IAC by switch your a/c on and off in idle. Your rpm should rise a couple of hundred with the a/c on.

Im telling you man thats it . dont know anything about the 4ws or check engine . after you loosen it a little and the problem doesnt happen again lets say for a week. next time you pick someone up or wait for someone in a store hold the pedal steady just take any slack out of it without really increasing the idle after like 2-3 minutes it will lope again then let gpo it will return normal. just basically got this one from expierience and just about everyone i know who mentiones this that solves it.
you have absolutely nothing to lose by trying it Its just a nut on the cable
