What is your fuel?
mmm key, thanks to your recommendations I started using 87 PON octane in my stock 91 CRX Si.
https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=1027551
I was mistakenly using 91 which happened to be PON and not the recommended in my CRX manual 91 RON=87 PON. Stupid of me, I didn't know diffrerence between RON and PON.
Still your recommendations were all over the map. The poll should help to understand what most of CRXs are using in North America (PON).

I filled my tank with 87 for the first tim ever, drove it for a while and I can't tell the difference from 91 octane: same quiet operation and r-r-r-r-roar from exhaust ...

89 octane...never heard any detonation. i could probably get away with 87, but i only put about 4-5k miles a year on the car so its not that expensive.

What do you mean you'd agree with the post? I thought it was a poll. And if you like BUSH so much you should vote 94+ octane (he'll make more money off you)

It is hard to say whether Bush is responsible for the high gas prices or not. After all, they were hovering around $2.00 per gallon even before election day, 2000.
As for the whole Iraq thing, I guess Bush really just got unlucky. Every president out there wants to make a name for themselves. And Bush is no different from any other president we ever had in this respect. He certainly saw the 'war on terror' as an excellent opportunity to do just this (and again, what potential president - Al Gore included - wouldn't?). But like many people in power, he let his dillusions of grandeur take control of his better judgement. And when this happens, the outcome is really just a matter of chance. He rolled the dice and lost. It's as simple as that.

This just proves how brainwashed you are. My arguments won't help here.
Bush got you more oil? Why is it than the price of crude more than doubled since he became a dictator?

1) I think you are the brainwashed one. The president has VERY LITTLE affect on the price of crude oil and the gas prices in general.
2) You SHOULDN'T notice any difference if you switch to 91 if you haven't had any problems running 87. If you are running 87 (which is all I use on my DX) and you aren't detonating then there is no need to switch to 91, unless you like to spend the extra $$$ (and line the pockets of my buddy Bush as you seem to think). Read-up on octane levels and how it affects your motor and then you'll understand the varying answers for which octane everyone is using.

Well. I prolly vote 4 bush. because I don't want kerry to get in and appoint a bunch of judges with far left leanings who will take my guns away..
But bush didnt roll any dice on iraq. he made a dumb-az assumption that if he cake-walked into iraq and knocked-over saddam all the little iraqis would jump for joy like toddlers at a ronald-mcdonald ho-down when the hamburgler shows up... and lo and behold it just rubbed those silly arab's pride the wrong way and now all they want to do is saw off heads, do reverse-drive-bys (you know, you put a bomb in a box and instead of homies driving by and blasting, you wait for the homies to drive by and you detontate the bomb), and take pot shots and americans with rpgs...., and saw off some more heads, and blow up mullahs who don't agree with you, and saw off a few heads....
but anyway.. gas has gone up because there's more demand than supply. it is only in the last 12 months that you've seen a situation where even when the saudis turn the pump up all the way... it still aint enough. china and india are suking up oil like a drunk elephant at a keg party, nigeria and venezuela have political problems, when the iraqi krazies arnt sawing off heads they are blowing pipe lines..
i said it before.. i says it agin.. bush/kerry makes no difference in the long run... they aint enough gas..
