Default Hiper Industries Bulbs

Anyone know if the Hiper Industries Super Plazma bulbs are any good, as in do they last long or do they light up the road well? I had the Nokya Artic Purples. They burnt out after a couple of months. The Hipers are only $15.99 on eBay. Anyone got experience with them? Thanks.

They look ok, but you won't be able to see **** on the road with them. Get some Cool Blues or something if you want to see. Hiper=ricer bulbs.

Yeah, I have a set of the Hyper bulbs in my 00' EBP Si.

First off I have to contest that hiper white bulbs are rice. That's getting a little picky don't you think? Oh God, if it's not JDM or Stock then it's rice. That subject is getting too specific and it's really starting to **** me off. So I guess the Lincolns and Acura's that have H.I.D lights are rice? No, of course not because it's OEM. Ok, so someone gets a real $2,000 H.I.D. system installed. Is it rice? Or how about a company puts out a replacement bulb that almost matches the H.I.D? Rice? I agree that the so called HID bulbs that are really blue and dim do suck yes but ... UUGGGHH...

Ok, back to the subject. I got a pair off of eBay for 30 bucks shipped. I put them in in April and they are still there working like they should. The are very white with a slight tint of blue. These are brighter than stock and does light up the road better. The brights are better also. Make sure you get the ones that are XENON gas charged with tinted glass and not Halogen bulbs with painted glass. The tint is there to turn the light super white, or so the package states, and you will get a tint of blue in the light. I think it makes the car look much more modern and I've always hated the yellow stock color and longed for white headlights. A few years ago when those ION bulbs came out I thought they were cool until seeing them. You know how they changed color at different angles? But these came out and I shopped for a long time before deciding on the Hiper Industries. Supposedly they last longer than stock but that is yet to be determined.

Bottom line, I love them, and would never go back to stock. I'd try to find some on eBay and do what you want. Obviously you don't like the yellow stockers either, that's why you're asking about these, so don't get talked out of something because some jackass said it was rice. I'm about as anti-rice as you can get. My car has NO stickers, lowered 3/4", stock wing, and wheels. So if someone sees my car at night and sees two bright white headlights and says, oh that's rice because it's not stock or JDM, they can kiss my ***! The whiter the light you can get is definatly better. The Hiper Industries is the whitest that I've seen, and I think it's a good choice. Good luck, I hope I helped.

Heh, I just picked up a few sets of 9006 for like $6/set.... was gonna throw it into my mom's 2001 Accord this weekend to see how they look. They look slightly lighter than Matrix/Nokya bulbs (Nokya are **** bulbs... just blue paint on the glass) but still the Hiper bulbs are darker than say PIAA superwhites, so I'm sure more blue will be shown.... I'll just wait and see (temp bulbs since I'm throwing in some HIDs into the Accord..... once you go HID, you don't want to go back (similar to driving a turbo car) )
