Default hesitation/bogging ??!!

heres the problem im running into. i have a sohc zc -nonvtec, swap. its always ran good but lately its seems like its been having a bit of a hesitation and bogging at part throttle, usually under 3k rpms. if i give it full throttle itll slowly clear up and start to pull again. i changed the cap, rotor and plugs. ive had my fuel regulator set at what it is for a while so i dont think thats it. i sort of have it narrowed down to maybe a tps problem or ignitior in the dizzy. the car throws no cel though. also, it never does this when i baby the car around. as soon as i punch it once, the bogging and such begins to happen when im just crusing.
anyone had this happen??

it just seems like something electrical, if the cat was bad, shouldnt it do that all the time, most of the time it runs great

DUDE!
Im going thrugh the exact same thing right now. I too drive a ZC sohc non-vtec.
You just describbed the same thing my car is doing. I check and re-did the timing belt, changed plugs, changed cap and rotor, messed with throttle, ect.ect....
Oh, and i did the timing belt again last night, just to make sure

I am so fucken stumpped!!! It feels like it's not getting enough gas or maybe not enough air. The car has been doing this for a week and a half now. I'm just about to lose my job if i don't get this **** fixed! I think tonite maybe i'll pull all wire harnesses and redo all the wiring!!!

Could it be a relay? Tps? fuel pump?

For the record, i was considering removing my silencer to see if that would help free something. Cause the thought of catalictic being clogged did cross my mind.

Thanx guys

I came across this problem too, so i added a fuel pressure gauge inside the engine bay.... ran it off a large hose and watched it inside while i was driving, it seemed that i would get a lag in the fuel pressure when i stomp on it.....i still have this problem maybe someone can enlighten us on what part to replace

might be a air leak.
check your intake manifold t/b to see if any air leaks.

Bump it up...This is the exact problem I'm having when mashing my pedal early in the morning. I can hear the Air Intake suck in air but it seems the gas just isn't getting lit up correctly. Almost like a timing issue but I highly doubt it.

It does sound like it's misfiring. I've checked each of the connections to the injectors and they are all in the right order. The car runs good after it warms up but still has a bog when going from idle and up.

Bogging at low RPMs is usually from not enough of a fuel shot during hard acceleration, Change the fuel filter and clean the injectors next.
