There are no cup holders in the 5th gen prelude. I believe there is a JDM Rear ashtray set with rear cup holders that can be installed but I would have to look up where they actually sell those. Have you checked ebay?

There are cup holders, right behnd the shifter, it has a slider thing to hold 2 cups. IMO way better than the holders on my civic, which has spilled so many drinks before.

Dude, stop spreading misinformation.

There are 3 cup holders in the BB6. 2 on the center console and 1 on the rear driver's side passenger arm rest.

the 1 in the console is the best cup holder cause it slides in and out to fit your cup..

wtf are you talking? about best cup holder my ****!!

Nothing like having to bend your arm in some weird direction so you can shift, and then the drink falls over into your lap. Thats the only thing i actually hate about my car, is the damn cup holder placement. May as well just seatbelt the damn drink into the passenger seat.

Well even for a small guy like me, the cupholder next to the ash tray in the center console does suck. It always interfered w/ my shifting. I can only imagine a tall guy like you, you need to buy one of those cup holders from autozone or something and stick on the air vents or something. hahaha

Preludes are made for small/short guys.

BTW, the seatbelting the drink into the pass. seat is teh funny. lol

PS - you shouldn't be drinking and driving anyway.

exactly why i dont buy drinks and then go driving unless they have a lid. I dont particularly like having cold *****, or running the risk of having to throw the drink to avoid some grandma that just cut me off going 10 mph in a 55 lol

our cup holders BLOW. Maybe when i run out of stuff to do to the car, ill get the type S cup holder and let you all know if that one still sucks ***.

Yeah, either that or wetball and seats, plus sticky *** soda water all over the place.

I'm sure they'll still suck, it just looks better, and probably hold the drink in place better. It'll still get in your way.

That's why the Prelude has them, it's not a sports car.

It's a economy car made for daily commuting. people need to drink their coffee.

Economy/commuter cars have four doors, does at least 25 mpg, have back seats that actually fit an adult, and definately doesn't scream at 5200 rpm.

I'm not saying the prelude is a true sports car, but it is far from an econobox

The Prelude is a sports car. That's why earlier 4th gens didn't even have a cup holder at all. And in the ones with cup holders it says in the owners manual that its not made to hold cups while moving and is only made to hold them while sitting still.

Do like me and drink from a bottle or have your passenger hold them four you. By the way the bottle fits right in that compartment in the door so you won't have to worry about that at all.

----*going out on limb for humor*----- I like to play this joke on my passenger if I am having to drink while driving.

Me= "Hey, do you want to see a magic trick"?
Passenger= "Yeah, what"?
Me= hand them drink and say "POOF... now your a cup holder"!
Passenger= "Jerk"!

I have a 92' and there is no cupholder. Sucks, but oh well.

Okay, okay, the Prelude is somewhat borderline of a sports car and an economy car.

Honda should of made them RWD, instead of FWD.
