Default 2001 ITR: CEL Random Misfire

My buddy from Alabama just moved to tampa with his beautiful PY ITR. He pressure washed his engine and a week later he is experiencing hesitation at low rpms and some stuttering at idle.....ECU threw a random misfire code. I checked his spark plugs and sure enough cylinder 3's spark plug chamber had water.... So I had changed all the spark plugs (Denso OEM) and reset the ECU. Drove around for about 20 minutes and no problems... but soon after, the problems start again...this time less hesitation\stuttering, but she still threw the misfire code again. The car has 86K on it. Is it just time to change the plug wires as well? Any ideas?

Random: had to give him some free Honda love....his clutch and brake reservoirs looked like mud so i flushed them till crystal clear. Changed his fuel filter and did a valve adjustment before changing his oil. Boy do I love working on ARRRRRs.

Getting new spark plug wire and cleaning the contact point at the coil might help.

make sure you've cleared the computer.I've done the same thing, minus doing any work to it.Give it time to dry out and reset your ecu

You can try to dry out your dizzy as stated above by uncapping it and letting it sit a while. Be careful however if you pull your plug wires out so as to not get any loose debris or other crap in there without you knowing it.
