DIY red lips?
has anyone ever done this themselves? paint your wheels lips red? i've been wanting to do so, but never seen a DIY hoping to find one before i do it myself... here are some pictures.
these i believe are enkei's painted red, super nice!
these are advans with the red shiny lip + super slammed!
someone help me out i wanna do that to my LS meshies

i wouldn't see how doing a DIY lip in red would be any different in painting the lip any other color. try searching in the archives under the appearance/cosmetic forum for a write up, which i have seen before.

hx's are made by enkei. enkei makes all honda alloy wheels i believe. correct me if i'm wrong. but my hx's said enkei on them.
i say pass on that red polish lip stuff. polish lip isn't appealing to me. but whatever floats your boat. i think there's someone selling some black wheels with a red polish lip in the NW for sale thread on here. take a look. i remember them being some sparco wheels.

cool its my car....hahah those are anodized..back in the days...i used metalcast on my webs..and painted the lips red on them...it looks good with a THIN coat...not a thick one....it gets drowned and loses its anodized look.
