I have a white civic hatch with some white rims. I am about to paint some interior parts. I think it will look nice and match my car, but I don't want to do too much. I was thinking about painting the air vents trims, the center console, door handles, maybe the glove compartment.....I would eventually want to pain the whole interior, but that's a heck of a job. An all white interior would look dope though. I actually won't paint it. I'll be using sem dye for interior. I'd like some input on this.

Dye is your best bet.

 

I used model paint that was fire and fuel proof. It is called Pactra and my white paint is Sprint White. It comes in little spray cans that cost $7 CDN each. You can get them at any Model Shop. I also bought some clearcoat to give it a protective clear layer over that. It is really stong and try as I might I cannot scratch it. Dying is usually only needed when you do the soft interior parts, like your dash, doors, and steering wheel. my whole interior is painted black for one reason the crx dash i aquired was blue and my cars interior was dark gray so i ened up doin it blck it came good but keep it stock man

 

My interior is ugly blue. I needs some painting to enhance it. I'm not talking about painting everything, just the plastic parts, the trim parts and the center console. I don't think an all blue interior looks nice. I need a change.

By the way, I hate when people tell me what do to. I want opinions, not orders!

 

calm yourself. he gave you his opinion and was pleading his case. in both mine and his opinions if you paint a few pieces it will look like ***. it's cheap and lame. there's our opinion.

 

I second that, if it aint broke then why fix it.
