Default a question on a rear disc swap

I presently am running a 1998 civic coupe with SI front rotors with drum brakes in the rear. I am wandering if i should run GS-R discs or 1999-2000 SI rear rotors. Please inform ASAP. thanks.

They are essentially the same parts. But get SiR/Si rear disc set up if you could.

Look at the FAQ above.

Any civic 92+ rear disk brakes would do fine then just up grade the rotor. Oh and integra work as well...

This should get you to where you want to go. Good luck!

I have a 00 civic hatch that I have done a full conversion on. Brakes I mean. The entire suspesion off of the SI was swapped onto my DX body. In doing so the rear brakes as well. I have the SI brakes with upgraded brembo rotors and my car stops on a dime. I dont think that the GSR rear brakes are much different in size anyway, at least enough to notice a big difference. The key is to get rid of those drums asap and have the disc brakes. SI will do fine, but if you get a hook up on gsr's, shoot. Either way.

The gsr and SI brakes are the same setup, so it really doesn't matter either way.

AHHHHHHHHHHH
ALL rear disc setups are IDENTICAL
GSR's do NOT have larger brakes than any other integra.
Integra front calipers have NOTICEABLY larger pistons.

Jesus kids...if you search just once, you'll see about 40gajillion threads saying that

See that thread link in my signature? Its there because its good. Its there because people ask the same questions over and over and over and over again on a daily basis.
