great news.....yeah honda is kickin *** this year. is button still in third in the driver's champ. behind the ferrari's? and isn't honda about to overtake (or maybe has) renault for the man. champ?

 

Button has pretty much secured 3rd in the Driver's championship and BAR-Honda has all but secured 2nd in the Constructors.

 

Can't make a guy drive a car he does not want to for next year.
Willams most likely buy out his contract anyway.

Hwhat? He is 3rd in the chapionship, TS is 8th. He is far from sucking.

 

True, but he sucks for trying to go to Williams like he did.

I hope next year BAR will continue to progress and not let Button-gate get them down. They have done damn good while Buttongate was in full-effect I will say that.

yeah i don't think so....business is business and in honda tuning he said that he would have a better chance for winning the champ. while being under williams. plus, he is going to run even better next year because if he still wants to be with williams, he will have to play his A game.

As was pointed out in the other thread in the competition forum, 2 things:
1. Frank Williams is known for not paying his drivers much, so it is highly unlikely he would spend the money to buy out JB's contract.

2. Frank Williams said they would honor whatever decision the CRB came up with. They are already talking about having Jenson in 2006.

Jenson Button will drive for BAR next year unless he sits the year out.
