i ran an 89 si tranny with my zc and it worked fine. i swapped in an 88 si tranny with a 4 puck for the 88, still with my 89 si axles and original zc flywheel (that worked fine with both clutch/tranny combos). everything works fine. all i used was 88 disc and pressure plate.

DO NOT RUN THE 88 CLUTCH... it is the size of a silver dollar..... get a 90-91 pressure plate and flywheel then order a 86-89accord 212mm disc, this is the upgrade size clutch for the 88's and it is a HUGE difference... i did this to my car and i could not belive the size of the 88 next to a 90-91...... good luck
