Default Rotor conpadibility

I am helping a freind fix his civic that he crashed into a guard rail. In the process, he killed his knuckle. He bought a replacement used, and today we went to put everything together. Anyways, were almost finished, all we had to do was put the brakes on. I put the rotor on, then go to put the caliper bracket on, and it doesn't fit over the rotor. So I mess with it for a while, and I relized that it didn't fit.

He has a 95 Civic EX wo/ABS. I assume that the knuckle he bought is off a DX/CX/VX civic. The rotor is just too big on his EX. For a fix, would it be possible to put a civic dx/cx/vx rotor on that wheel, with the EX brackets and calipers?

you need the ex knuckle, thats all that will work
the other are too small for either of what you asked - rotors and the caliper brakets will both fail in fitment

he MUST use an ex knuckle or else use the entire setup off a "lesser" on that side (knuckle, caliper, rotor)

alright. thankyou

What year did they move to the larger integra sized rotors? Was it on all EX's 92-95 or what?

A 95 Civic EX with or without ABS should have the larger 10.2 rotor. However, you said that the brake caliper bracket doesn't fit over the rotor. Is it because you have the wrong knuckles and the offset is preventing it from fitting or do you actually have a smaller brack caliper bracket?

he is just using the EX caliper braket. His knuckle he got didn't have any brake parts on it. I have an extra smaller caliper and bracket at home, but thats 10+ hours away.
