I'm pretty sure you need to pull the engine to get easy access to them. Otherwise you're going to need to drill a hole from under your dash to reach in between the engine and firewall.
You were joking, right?

you guys are being jerks. Everybody starts somewhere, you at some point learned where spark plugs were too. you weren't born with that knowledge. he's just asking a tech question. this is honda-TECH, isn't it?
Open up your hood, you'll see four wires running across the top of your valve cover. Pull them out of their sockets and below are the plugs. And don't assume all of h-t is like this. Some people seem to like to act like they're better than everyone else cause they know a little more about a car. sheesh.

I thought that was pretty explicit help alone. But I guess, monalisa, if you gotta dumb it down and feel righteous about it.....

If you don't know to follow the wires to the plugs, then you damn well shouldn't be working on your car without a shop manual (and maybe at all). If you had a manual, you would see where the plugs are.
So I guess the best answer is to get a manual and start reading.
Update: I just asked my wife how to find the spark plugs in a car, and she told me to open the hood and follow the wires...

yeah thats one of honda-techs major problems, but it does keep alot of n00bies from posting up stuff like this
No offence to Chingles, but your a noob and get used to hearing that until you learn a lot more about cars, not trying to be an *** but its the truth

i remember when i knew nothing about cars, which wasn't that long ago. just a few years. my second car was a turbo talon, and when i bought it, i honestly didn't know what a turbo was. when i test drove it i asked the salesman what that wierd high-pitched sound was..............LOL! But i learned a shitload of information really really fast. How?, you may ask. I READ, READ, READ. I understand that you may want more immediate answers and feel that by posting a question that someone will answer you quickly, but the truth is, here at H-T you are gonna catch **** for posting questions like this one. and usually i'm the one who deals the ****. if someone hadn't already cracked a joke, i probably would have. but anyway, if you use the search button either on this site, or use google, then you can probably find your answers quicker than posting a question. and you'll also run into all kinds of info that you may not have been looking for, but is very useful. all i can say is, research.
lol thats kind of you to help that person out with the pic man but i hope they use it as gained knowledge and dont try to change them themself...
lol
if you dont know where they are you should really never even think about changing them youself lol
ps. should have told him he doesnt need to remove his hood to see the plugs

man do i feel nice today for some reason...
-remove the 4 screws holding the spark plug cover
-pull the spark plug wires straight up. you may have to twist a little bit.
-take the small spark plug socket (looks like a normal socket but has rubber in it), using at least a 6" extention on it unscrew the plugs. *plugs get very ******* hot* and remove. place them somewhere clean and dry.
- place new spark plug into socket. not all the way, just enough for the rubber to grip it and still able to turn it. you will understand why the first time you lose a socket in the engine bay
- screw plug in hand tight and then maybe 1/4 turn more. no more then that.
white colored plug tips = running lean
black colored plug tips = running rich
brown colored plug tips = good to go
oil or fuel on the plugs = potential problem
if your car is stock dont worry about it being too lean or rich. once you start to modify your car you need to pay very close attention to these however.
hope that helps man
damn canadians

actually, i didn't remove my hood, i just lifted it all the way up. and you're right. you definitely don't need to go changing stuff unless you are confident that you can do it right. the only way to do that is to READ!

After all this I dont think Chingles will be coming back to H-T....I think you scared him with all that BS on the first 7 replies.
I can only imagine him actually going under the car and dropping the oil pan and not draining the oil first
