Default How to check fuel pump?

Car gave me trouble starting after i put gas in it then when i got home it wouldn't start and hasn't started since. i'm getting spark, when i spray starter fluid in the tb it starts for a second then dies, so its definately fuel related. new filter, how can u check to see if the pump is working i hear it prime but not sure if its working without dropping the tank till i know its bad. put a another resistor box in it and still didn't work, starting to run out of ideas.

you need a fuel pressure gauge , you can get a kit that lets you mount it on the fuel filter, if your not getting at least 35 psi at the fuel filter than your pump is not working.

when you get in the car turn the key to the on position (2) and you should hear it prime for about 2 seconds, if it doesnt do that then its definatley the fuel pump, or its a broken main relay wich is causing the fuel pump to not turn on .
