Cobalt Spec VR's...whats the bedding procedure?
Like the topic says, I just got these for my track days this weekend. No instructions on how to bed them in properly. I know a few on you guys use these. Please let me know what the correct way is. I know the Cobalt GT Sports are 5 moderate stops from 60 to 0, 10-15 mins of cooling, another 5 stops very hard from 60-0 followed by more cooling. And then park for 24hrs without e-brake. Is it the same for Spec VR's?
rob, i looked. i found **** about how they glow and spark. i didn't need that. maybe i should bring my friend and camcorder along in case they do

Dammmmmmm
They put in advanced at LRP ??? that can be harsh. I have been in Advanced at LRP and its a very fast moving group, I had the slowest car there and was getting lapped by Z06s, Porshes, M3s, Those kit cars, and many other 'heavy hitters'. and passing... geeze some guys get their panties in such a bunch if you don't give a proper pass or let them have a proper pass.
Be careful, you can get into trouble in that group.

When I bedded my VR's for the first time, sparks were the name of the game.
I always do a slight variation of the bedding procedure on my first lap on the track, mainly because they go on/off every event, and sometimes they end up on a side they weren't on the event before.
