Default LS+GSR pistons?

is this possible with stock rods? I thought about others like ITR, CTR but this is my daily driver and wanted a reasonable CP without havin to run 93+ octane everyday.
More than likely will jump into a Vtec head in the spring time with more funds so its a build in progress .....

Yes. You have to have either the rods or pistons modified to fit. The small end of the LS rod is too wide to fit in an unmodified GSR piston.

ITR pistons are fine with 91 octane-properly tuned.

usdm itr pistons will give you about 10.3:1 cp while the jdm itr pistons will take you up to about 10.8:1 either way you should be able to run on pump gas easily when tuned.
