si distributor

Default si distributor

is there a differance in distributors? is the 88 crx si distributor any differant from the rest of them (89, 90, 91)? if so what? i have an 88si, but i'm going to be putting a 90si distributor on it... will that work ok? or will i run into a problem doing so?

All 88-91 HF/SI dizzys are all the same and are interchangeable..

The number on the ear will be TD-02U for an Si distributor. It is possible to use the TD-18 as well. If you go to an auto parts store-make very sure to get this specific one. Some parts books are showing the wrong one for our D16a6 engines. Then again you can use the one that Distributor King has available-it is a direct replacement.

that's good news to me. my SI distributor took a ****. i've been borrowing my friends, but i have an HF dizzy laying around somewhere.

is the HF dizzy ok to run on a Z6?

It doesnt fit without some hacking..

yeah, i about got that hacking deal down. SI had to be hacked to. my friend wasn't to happy about that for his dizzy though.

Search - there is a guy on here that made some brackets and sells them too. Not expensive and saves you from hacking.

The name "STD" should let you know right there that there is a problem!

this is good to know! thanks a lot! cause i have one off a 90 that i'm putting on my 88 and i need one for my 90 cause my tech desent seem to work since i put the one i have now on! Thanks A Lot
