something like a ported type r manifold is good

BLOX racing intake manifold outperforms sk2.
weve dynoed them on a stock gsr and picked up 8whp.

did you happen to dyno it against the sk2 im? i read/saw several people saying that blox outperforms sk2, but there isn't any dyno charts comparing sk2 vs. blox on a same motor. if it picked up 8whp on a motor already equipped with the sk2 mani, then i'll be convinced. right now, to me, the most promising thing about the blox mani is the price. $223 shipped from prostreetonline.com...i'm not complaining about that.

<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by rhd &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">since you have the GSR head...there is a VERY limited amount of manifolds you can run.....

the skunk2 is NOT designed for the c1 head, so i would skip it all together.

the stock mani needs some work to perform like it should, so i'd just go ahead and skip it too

you're best bet (for a DD) is the Edelbrok manifold

but if you wanna ball, go for a JG sheetmetal </TD></TR></TABLE>

what the heck are you talking about. edelbrock mani for a "DD" stock gsr head???!!! the edelbrock mani is for motors revving up to 10,000 rpm- not your typical daily driven motors. And where did you come up with the idea of skunk2 mani not having a design for a gsr head???? research before you give out advices.

also AEBS does not make mani for gsr heads...(maybe they do..but i haven't seen one on for sale at kteller.com, so i'll conclude that they DON'T)

so, Jason if i were you, i'd go with either blox or wicked(same as blox), and if the price is right, skunk2. they all have 64mm inners and since you already have a 64mm tb, it will work well with what you have.

hey, that's my line.........

very true.

Ok, I think people are reading into the replies incorrectly. Trustbuddy, there is of course an S2 intake manifold that fits the GSR head, as many people use it currently. RHD is saying that although it bolts up correct, the airflow path is not designed for the GSR head. The S2 manifold is basically an ITR manifold with GSR mounting holes. The the 2 heads have different air flow characteristics.
Personally, I would go with the Blox manifold, or you could wait for Paulus to finish the AEBS manifold for GSR heads, assuming it's not already finished.
