detonation?
Well after many months of work, i finally finshed my H22 swap today and to my surprise after about 3 seconds or cranking the engine fired right up. It warmed up and seemed to idle fine but after about 10 minutes it sorta had a miss in it. I could hear it at the muffler and in the engine bay it seemed to idle fine. I changed all of the wires and plugs and installed a new cap and rotor also. One thing i havent done which ill do tomorrow is get the timing light on it and hopefully thats my only problem. Could this possibly be detonation maybe? And if so could the timing being off cause this? I also had the oil light on inside the car but im hoping thats just a sensor because the oil is freshly changed and was at perfect level on the dipstick. I did have to pull the oil pressure sensor from the back of the H23 because it was damaged on the H22 so im hoping it will do the trick, if not ill have to order a new one. Maybe someone could also input on this? Thanks

That's definately where I would start.
Get a timing gun and check that out.
Which dist. are you using?
