i would rock the stock recaro Si seats for whatever year EF you have. they bolt in perfect without mods and are ****** comfy and look/perform great. they are my favorite seat. the only problem is finding them in tip top shape, thats why i have 3 basically brand new sets

Gotta love summit.</TD></TR></TABLE>
I'm almost positive that Sparco/Momo resell their seats at a discount price to all these various generic suppliers.
I think the only difference is the fabric.
I was looking through my pep boys accessory catalog today at work, and I swear....there is absolutely zilch, zero, no difference in the shape of the seat, location of the bolsters, size of the bolsters, reclining mechanisms, shape/location/size and reference of the harness holes etc.
There's no way some of these generic seats are THAT good of a replica.
I don't care what any of you guys say...that's my theory and I'm sticking to it.
That said, not ALL generic seats are the same. I noticed some of them are slightly off...but I've seen generic seats from like 5-7 companies that look exactly like the Sparco/Momo seats. No difference in any detail but fabric.

The question is, how much do they weigh (at least the reclinable ones?) I've heard knockoff Torinos are much lighter than their real counterparts, which shows that they're lacking in build material/quality.
Now, when it comes to non-reclinables i may understand, as they might not even use tubing, but do you really want to take that risk? I don't think it's worth the extra few hundred saved to put your life on the line for some knockoff seats.

Stock Honda seats aren't built that great at all.
As a matter of fact, I think only the Del Sol seats have done fairly well in crash tests.
I don't know what off brand I saw today...but we've actually got some at work. And there is absolutely, hands down no difference in the seats. Even the recliner function and adjustment ***** are the same.

I used the word 'generic' as a substitute to list all other seat brands excluding Sparco and Momo since those are the only two I cited in my previous post.
