got 1 inch of rain....in the trunk
So my car was parked outside today and it rained, a lot. On the way home from work I hear splashing from the trunk. I get home and pop the trunk and lift the mat to fine about 1 inch of water where the spare is suposed to be. WTF!!!! How the hell did this happen? After inspection I don't have an answer, but the clues and facts are this....
Didn't happen while driving.
Came in through the driverside rear, somehome when the water goes between the rearquater and the truck-hatch.
Taillight had water in it.
Taillight pad, soaked.
Some dropplets on the wires.
Anyone else ever have this happen? Do I need new taillights, or new taillight pads?

You probably need new tail light gaskets. You can buy them from the dealership or from someone here on HT. One guy makes them I believe and they're thicker and better than stock. Anyone know the name?
make sure there's no holes in the channel where the hatch meets the rear quarter as well.. my old one had a pinhole there that leaked quite a bit before i figured it out.. same thing happened..
