what u guys like alot
oka i am getting ready to paint my car at the tech school for my 6 weeks project so i came up with 3 different nice colors to paint my dx hatch. 1 color to pick is navy blue , the other is wild strawberry red , or the last 1 is oilve green. oka since i picked out my 3 differnt colors to paint my hatch and now i wanna know if i should paint my side moldings to match the color on the panels or just leave them black to match the front bumper grille and some other opition to match with black.
So what do you guys suggest me to do with the side moldings and the paint from the choice i want to paint it and post pictures of these colors if can and post any pictures with the moldings painted or nonpainted.
and thanks for your help

A while back i would say leave them black but, after seeing so many with painted moldings and how clean they look, I say paint them.
Olive Green gets my vote (thats whatim painting my car whenever i get $$$)

I would say red would be cool, but if i did I would paint the mouldings on the sides and front and rear bumpers a nice black and get a CF hood (if you dont have one) and some other ****. The same goes for the olive green. Those would be my choices but hey go with what YOU like because if you dont deep down you will always want something ELSE
well my strong feeling that i gonna go with oivle green since i saw the other post about the hatch that has red painted rotas on it with oilve green paint so i was thinking of doin that with black set of rims or bronze with some CF parts on it. And should i paint the mirror and the door handle in the same color for oilve green for a clean look ?

Here is what I would do. Paint the car Olive Green. Paint the side moldings black with actual plastic paint (this makes it look new). Add a carbon fiber hood and lip, with bronze rims.
That is basically what you want to do, and I'm telling you that it would look great!
