Default should i wait till spring

i just got a 97 prelude sh and im looking to put money into it

should i wait untill spring to get exhaust, cai ...ect.?

i probably wont be driving it too much cuz of snow and stuff here in indy

and

if i do get an exhaust im looking at evo2 or apexi on the low end and skunk2 or maybe even mugen on the high end if i can wait that long
which one is gonna give me the best sound(low tone and not ricey) and performance for my buck

thx

I would wait until Spring...or at least late Winter.

I have the S2 on my car, and I really like the look and sound. I didn't have the change to buy the Mugen, or I would have went with that. IMO, if it is cheap...it is going to sound that way.

I wouldn't wait cuz I wouldn't be able to stop myself. Plus its not like winter is never coming back again after u fix it up. However, I'd wait for the cai since it could suck up water.

no way id wait til winter, id be going nuts, besides the snow and salt i welcome the winter, COLDER AIR. you exahust will sound awesome on a cold night and ure CAI will be so loud you will love it, maybe louder than the exhasut if the weather is right. As far as sucking up water, its winter, and just FYI ud have to submerge ure entire filter in a bucket of water to actually seize ure motor, i ran CAI for 3 yrs before turbo and drove through plenty of winters with no problems, just dont go driving into 3 foot puddles haha

only wait til spring for body work and cosmetic things, rock salt will kill ya

let us know what u decide

HAHA yeah I wouldn't wait also. I guess I just said it so I won't get blamed if he did decide to go cai and drove into a deep *** puddle. My car right now has an AEM cai and I ain't taking it off. About the bypass valve, I heard that those suck. I don't agree or anything cuz I have no idea but I just remember reading bad things about them, like how it makes your cai less efficient. Is this true or not?
