Pro's:
-Perfect on-the-fly height adjustment
-Fits on stock/ current shocks
Con's:
-If the shocks are worn or too soft for the coilsprings you get a bounchy ride
-Shock/ spring mismatch you will not get handling you want
Which ones to get:
Ground controls in combination with Koni Yellow!
Avoid:
Skunks.......

There is pretty good deal on GC at Groupbuycenter.com right now, $274. I have the Koni Yellow GC setup going on my car soon. I am waiting on my bushing kit to get here.

The Teins HA's do not compair with the unmatched GC/Koni combo at all. They are MUCH better. The adjustability and quality of Teins is unmatched by a coilover sleeve and unmatched damper. I found my HA's for $980shipped. Which is less than $200 more than a GC/Koni yellow combo. So why not get the better proven combo??? And the teins are also much more adjustable. A guy is selling alot of them and they are new. he is on http://www.superhonda.org forsale forum if you want some. And no I dont work for him, just a very satisfied customer.

Konis = $550 (absolute max they will cost)
GC = $340 (for the custom spring rate and custom length kit)
Shipping = $20 (Konis have free shipping in the US)
So that's like $900. Round up to $950 for any misc. stuff and your under the cost of the Tein HAs.
Now, this doesn't mean that at $980 the Tein HAs aren't worth it. I am just correcting some info I think is wrong...

All shocks I´ve tried or have experienced have the tendency
to break down after a year or two.... Billsteins, APEX, H+R, Tiens, Tokico´s there´s just one shock which lasts and that´s Koni, They are so confident about their products that they give a 10 year warranty on their products....
BTW: All dutch export products are good..............

Why avoid the cheap ones? My dad has the ricky racers on his 90 Civic and their great (we have stock struts in there and its a little bouncy) it handles way better then stock...
My skunks ride just fine with Tokico blues. They don't even affect my bad back. The bad back wasn't due to any bad suspension setup... just from being overzealous with a heavy dj subwoofer.
why avoid skunks!!!!!!!!!!!
Skunks are fricking hard (just look at the spring diameter!) and mesh up the shocks pretty fast (including Koni's which have >40mm lowering warranty void). In combination with stock / soft shocks you get a bounchy ride.
Testdrive a car with skunks and see if you like it.....but keep in mind that mounting "just" skunks isn't enough to get a stiff ride. Go all the way with the suspension (ES, shocks, struts, sways). Remeber a stiff suspension means sacrificing comfort and control.....
The stiffer the car the harder to control. I have Energy Suspension (black) + Koni and Eibach + struts&ties +40 profile tires and my car is a fricking cart! (I def. suggest not buying them if you occasionally drive on brick roads)
