Did 5spd SWAP, now I have no RUNNING LIGHTS!! HELP!

Did 5spd SWAP, now I have no RUNNING LIGHTS!! HELP!
I did all the correct wiring in my walkthrough. Reverse lights work great, brake lights are fine.
But when I turn headlights on, the brake lights do not come on dimly (running lights) but when i push brakes in, the brake lights work great.
I guess its some wiring in shifter assembly. I will look into it tomorrow.
Has anyone else had this problem?
