actually, I think he is suggesting that he run some intake piping from his turbo with a filter, instead of just sticking the filter on with no piping. Without piping, the filter is sucking in all of the hot air that is given off by the exhaust manifold. Extending the filter away from the exhaust manifold will allow you to get some colder air and thus help cool off your engine.

Oh so pretty. I wish I had that **** in my lude. BTW, it looks like you've blown your valve cover gasket, and the air vacaum line to valve cover has no filtration.

Yeah except air/fuel mixtures tend to combust prematurely under pressure when too hot. Therefore on an FI application it is a good idea to get cool hence the whole idea of intercoolers. It's on turbo applications for a reason, the air gets more dense and therefore it's very important to have cooler air for a safer engine & it gives you potential to run more boost!

Ya, you better not post pics of your engine cuz someone could jack your car. I mean, the thief will pop every civic EK's hood to see if yours is it.

He didnt post a pic of what the outside of the car looks like, so even if a thief knew what city it was it, how would he get his car stolen from posting here?
