You can use any b-series tranny it is just all about the gearing. The LS is geared higher for fuel economy, so it wont be as quick. All my turbo friends use LS trannies for higher top end. Well except Pawel (aka Honda God), he custom built an accord tranny what a cool dude.

Sounds to me like you need to start searching junkyards like my brokeass and DIY. Much easier and much less costly, and more rewarding, Good luck. Hope I helped

get a sir tranny. I am running a CTR tranny with my JDmB18C and I love the short gears and LSD!
