reasons for oil burning???

my oil is being used up quik. i just added a quart today after only 2000 miles. i use honda oil.

does driving around 80 on the freeway cause burning oil??

ps.. couldnt find any leaks

If you have a GSR as your name suggests, you're probally hitting vtec quite a bit, and vtec has a tendency to burn a little puff of oil. not much, but just a little as it engages.

Bad valve stem seals
Guides need to be replaced
Rings are bad
Bad seals or gaskets
Tapping into Vtec

word is your supposed to be losing about a qt of oil between changes.
