after driving around for alittle bit CEL turns on with code 23 "knock sensor" after that car goes slow but v-tec seems to still engage. i checked my knock sensor i noticed its black instead of green and 2 wires instead of 1, those 2 wires are splices together with a ground out pin. is it normal to have 2 wires? should i wire it into d3 or ground it out. Thanks...its a jdm b16 with a p30 ecu

 

are you sure you didnt get your knock sensors and the oil pressure sensor confused... the knock sensor is only suppose to be 1 wire. The oil pressure sensor should be a positive and a ground.
