My advice would be to look at a set of custom valved Koni Yellows with Ground Control coilovers with custom spring rates. This set-up has been proven time and time again in road racing applications and makes a very competent street set-up as well.

Only one's I would get are TEIN RA, RE, or RS....
But uh... get Konis and GCs because they are affordable and will get you 90% of the way to a $1500 set-up for $800.

RA - $1500
RE - $1700
RS - $2100
would you care (or anyone) to explain the difference between the three? is the RS really worth the $600 more than the RA? is it just to say, yeah i got TEIN RS.. or is it like... TEIN RS blows TEIN RA out of the water?

Just standard Koni Yellow shocks with the a Ground Control coilover spring setup. You can adjust the shocks and buy Eibach race springs and have full control of your suspension for less than the cost of a coilover.
Ground Control now has a full sleeve for Koni shocks for the same price as the standard sleeve.
