New Starter Help
I need some help,my current starter is going out, when i try to start it when it has been sitting for a night it just clicks, after about 3-4 times trying it will turn over, getting worse and worse.
I have heard something about a soleniod and i was wondering if that is a differnt part of the starter or just inside the starter??

i would check out a junkyard because it will prolly be easier to replace rather than repair. but i believe that the selenoid is another part of the starter and that is what is probably wrong with your starter.
yea, the solenoid could be not getting enough voltage, not lubed enough, or plain worn, like the wiring or contact points, etc. Definatly check into gettin a used one, and if you really want, and your motor is ok, replace just the solenoid.
ok so you are saying just replace the soilend, motor cranks great after it gets going, just has to click like 5 times first. BTW how hard is it to reaplce solinods?? and where can i get one?
