Pics from Homestead HPDE... Ferrari hotness! (no 56K)
So this weekend was a blast, Homestead Miami Speedway HPDE on Satruday and South Florida Meet on Sunday... doesn't get any better!

That was definetly AirForce 1. I heard the president is having a dinner party tonight in Florida. My friends dad is a pastor, he had to say a prayer for the dinner. Good vids though, don't you love it, how your driving on the track thinking your the fastest, when all of a sudden a Porsche or Ferrari come flying by you!

i know you were joking but what i see most of the time happen, is some one in a car that has MAJOR HP, but doesn't really know how to turn it. so they put threw the turns and then befor you can get you foot down, they have already started pulling on you. In my experance the only way to make sure they let you pass is to get right up on them and let them know your there, becuase most of the time they are so freaked out in the turns they don't notice you back there.

i know you were joking but what i see most of the time happen, is some one in a car that has MAJOR HP, but doesn't really know how to turn it. so they put threw the turns and then befor you can get you foot down, they have already started pulling on you. In my experance the only way to make sure they let you pass is to get right up on them and let them know your there, becuase most of the time they are so freaked out in the turns they don't notice you back there.

Bah, safety first. I know what you man/how you feel, and I've done it before. But I wouldn't again.
EDIT: I'm getting used to having corner workers with big blue w/yellow stripe flags... the corner workers got to know me at the last event I was at, and I saw that thing fly before I was 50 yards of the guy in front of me! :D Those corner workers at Road America rock. I ate dinner with a couple of them (working the Kink and 7). They had some great stories!

Corner workers definatly rock. Sometimes you really do have to fill up a guys mirrors if he's not paying attention or just not letting you pass. Just don't do anything stupid and keep enough room for error.

yes, let me clear some things up...
1)The Ferrari Team ENER1 was getting complaints all day from NOT giving point bys.
2)Black 360 Challenge car had a very INexperienced driver
3)You guys are only seeing part of the picture. Based on sunlight, you can see that video was during the afternoon session. They were being cocky and lacking courtesy all day. I have footage of the giant TRAIN he was causing.
4) I was showing him nose before and riding his tail. Like Slammed_hatch said, someitmes you need to be a little firm. That was the 2nd or 3rd time I had passed him in the video I posted. He knew my little white honda with CF Hood and Red Honda pimple (emblem) Previously, I was with him for 2-3 laps before he finally gave me the Point by...
5)Honestly, I dont think he was looking in his mirrors. From what I noticed all day, he seemed to be weary of the car, prolly cuz its a $200K that he prolly couldnt handle. He was being cautious, I'll give him that much. But he did not show proper courtesy on the track. Oh well, he still got rolled by the R
6)Things are a bit more lax here in sunny south florida than some other rather **** NASA/SCCA sanctioned events... like say, cough VA Region cough...
The three wide pass the ferrari made is common with cocky, rich guys like what Bbasso so eloquently said... So "riding his tail" isn't a big deal. Im sure his ego didnt take kindly to it... oh well
7)The rattling is my catback exhaust starting to come loose and the heat sheilds rattling back there... oh well. Anyone have a Fujitsobo RM-01a or Buddy Club Spec 3 catback exhaust for sale??
All in all, I went out there to have fun. And I did! It was a ******* blast....
