Paint Pro's, look in here!
k, a guy on another forum said he was gonna tell me how to do this but he never came through so i need some help in matching my paint, whats happened [or so i'm told] is that the paint has oxidized and thats why it's turning this pinkish color, i've been told using different car car products i can get it back to the original red? here's a pic for a example:
my friends toyota is doing the same thing.
I'm gonna try to wax it out a bit but if not then the paint fades from the sun.
There are a few waxes out there that will bring it close to red but it won't be perfect

If you've never done it, I would recommened just having someone do a complete exterior detail on the car.
Needs a good polish, and wax. If you really wanted to, you could use some color brightener stuff.
If you wanted to go the extra step and you're paint really needs it, find someone with a high speed buffer an dhave them do a three step (cut, polish, wax).

If there's clear over it, there aren't too many options for restoring the paint color.
I would try what everyone is saying, though--some sort of 3-step process certainly can't hurt the situation.

Generally, most 3 steps include 1) some sort of deep paint cleaner 2) glaze/polish 3) wax.

detailing that isnt gonna do much. I work at a detailing place and we did an exterior detail on a red tercel about 4 months ago and it had the same thing, and the pink parts came no where close to red. If you decide to detail it, dont have it ''professionally'' done, most likely its going to be a waste of money. The only way that paints going back to red from a detail job is if theres so many surface scratches (which appear white) that the white look from the scratches takes over the appearance of the color. Buffing will only take out the really really shallow scratches. Repainting the bumper is probably your best bet. Shouldnt be more then a couple hundred for the bumper right? Well my shop charges 175 for an exterior so based on those rates you'd just be better off repainting
