Backed Up Into A Pole!! Need Some Advice
ok, the last owner of my car backed out of the garage one day.. for some odd reason, i have no idea why.. it resulted in ripple dents on my passenger door. i plan on repainting my car one day. should i get a new door or would it be cheaper to just pull the dents out if it's even possible.. lmk what you guys think.

also, my friend backed my car into a pole when he was pulling out of his driveway.. here's the results.. how much much an i looking to get it pulled out? the bumper is fine, just some scratches, but the quarter panel is what i'm worried about. i don't care about paint at this point because i plan on getting a complete respray at some point.

can someone give me a rough estimate how much it'll cost to get all this stuff fixed and respray the car milano red? i'm located in socal.. if anyone knows a good shop, that'll be helpful also..

i dont know how much for the rear 1/4 but honestly if you can find a good cheap door i would get it. unmolested metal is always better than bondo, and ripples are a bitch.
well i can find a door for like 50 bucks, i'm just worried about the quarter panel damage.. how much am i looking to spend on that?

ok this is where u are gonna need to make some connections. I'm sure everyone knows that when u walk into a collision repair body shop u are basically bending over to get assraped. they rip you off so bad its not even funny.
BUT the thing is there are a lot of good bodymen out there, and in my experience bodymen are always ready to pick up some cash on the side. SO if you can meet a bodyman (friend of a friend, etc.) you might be able to get him to fix that **** on the side. typically for work like this you would pay about half what you would if you just walked into a shop. paying that price the bodyman will still be making money.
ask to see examples of his work. tell him you want it done RIGHT and you're willing to pay a little extra - trust me, it will still be cheaper than going to a shop.
hope this helps.
