Default Breather (PCV) system for H22 - help..

Does anyone have any pics of how they went about getting rid of crankcase pressure on an H22? I want to run something like the Z10 or Endyn kit .. some visuals would be nice

TIA.

thanks for the obvious... ive read those pages before and that is a b series specific writeup..., i was just wondering if there is a difference between a catch can setup with the b-d-h series engines...

It depends if you want to run an open breather system or a vacuum assisted one.

An open breather system would involve a ventilated catchcan with a filter on top and lines run to it from your valve cover and PCV valve (which needs to be removed).

There are no ports on the back of the block that will allow you to relieve crankcase pressure like in the B Series.

You can also consider adding more ports to the valve cover to run to the catch can.

A vacuum assisted option would involve removing the filter from the top of an open system and running a line into a slashcut tube in the exhaust after the cat.

the problem with adding ports on the valve cover like the b series guys is that there is no baffling on the exhaust side of thevalve cover, which is the side where you see the most gains/benefits of this style setup. Also as stated, we have no spots to vent crank case pressure from

I've thought of welding in a baffle so that i could run the ports off of the front of the valve cover, but haven't looked into it to much yet.

any other ideas guys?

For H, F, and D series engines you can use the stock PCV line(excluding the PCV valve), Breather Line, and tap an extra 1-2 ports in the valve cover if wanted. You can attach a filter directly to the line or connect them to 1or2 catchcans with a breather filter on </TD></TR></TABLE>
everything in that thread is applicable to your motor except for the ports on the back of the block
